Hello everybody. A great opportunity has arisen for our squadron to join together with other squadrons around the wing to aid in the Wilmington air show on the 19th-20th of April. Any cadets who participate will be assigned to guard various areas of the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, We will be required to provide for our own dinners.
Cadets who wish to participate must have achieved the grade of Cadet Airman prior to the event.
Bring 20 dollars for dinner both nights. You may also wish to bring money for various souvenirs throughout the weekend.
Accommodations will be provided at the National Guard Armory near the base.
I must turn in a list of names to the Cape Fear Composite Squadron Cadet Commander by Tuesday night. If you read this before the meeting on Tuesday, please speak with you parents. I need to have definite answers, by Tuesday Night, you may either post on here or get in contact with me at the meeting.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I will find out the answers and get back with you.

To all the cadets that participated in the ILM air show this weekend, YOU ALL DID A GREAT JOB!!! Sometimes it was hot, sometimes it was a little wet, but you guys never complained and were very diligent workers and that was the most we could have ever asked of you. A great thank you has also been extended from the Cape Fear Composite Squadron staff, they said they could not have done it without us, especially that second day. I believe this air show was a great opportunity to get together and meet cadets from other units. With cadets and senior member presance from, Elizabeth City, Cape Fear, Apex, Ashville, Cunningham Field, plus others, this has been one of hte largest squadron gathering for a cadet activity so far this year in our wing. I look forward to working with all of these squadrons again sometime in the very near future! What I would like now is feedback for those of you that went, what did you enjoy, what would you have changed, and would you want to o back next year? _________________ "When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the Earth with your eyes turned skyward, for it is there you have been, and there you will always long to return"
