I prefer Military Style PT done in BDU's. However, the opinion of the CPTO matters to me (C/SAmn Williams). So, I'll let him make the call as to whether or not it will be in Civi's and exactly what the activities will be. As far as testing, for PT Tests, again, if the CPTO wants to condict them, then he will and will report results to me (I'll walk around and monitor).
As far as other testing, I do not like doing it at the Armory. I prefer scheduling it at my house where things are more laid back and less distracting. I will discuss the testing dates I have in mind with all of you at next weeks meeting (hint ... looking at holding testing at my house at 1000 hours on Saturday the 3rd of February for anyone who is interested and who is qualified AND READY to test). All Middle School Students / Cadets will have to check with the CAO (C/SAmn Forslund) to see if they have enough Merits to test (He will in turn check with me). LT |

| Sat Feb 03, 2007 4:13 pm ONE TIME WAIVER OF JCER REQUIREMENTS |
|
|
To All Cadets Eligible for Testing,
JCER Reports (Home Merits) do not apply to High School age Cadets as they are exempt from the JCER program.
This winter has been especially tough to keep up with everything with the winter FTX, organizational structural changes, everybody's added reponsibilities, etc... If I receive no protest from the Cadet First Sergeant, I will look at past turn-ins of the JCER Reports I have on file, and with a note from a parent that your actions in school, at home, and elsewhere have reflected positively on CAP, I will grant a one time waiver so that you may test.
With regard to whether or not you may test; Check the regs, the last date of your promotion, what you should have been studying to ensure you have been studying the right thing, see if you are eligible, then decide if you are ready. Let me know if you are. LT |

| You will hear no protest from me sir. I to have realized how much we have lost track of the merrit system. I think a one time waiver wil be a good idea. It is now the personell officers job ot keep up wih the merrits correct sir? |
