Hastings Emergency Services Training
This will be a learning and a fun experience! Come prepared for anything with an open mind and ready to learn. There will be ES training, PT, team building, night hikes, Camp fires, and much more.
Must have completed 116 prior to attending
Must have printed your 101 card and have it with you
Must have form 60 on your person when you show up
Must have your CAP ID on your person
Must show up with a Positive attitude
Must have the minimum Gear List
We will be meeting at the National Guard Armory at 0600 on March 25th. If the participant does not meet the minimum requirements he/she will not be eligible to attend. This is intended be a fun trip, but this is still a CAP event. All of the rules and regulations apply. We must ensure that the CAP safety standard is first and foremost on this trip. We will be returning on March 30th at 1900. You must have a CAPF 31 turned in prior to March 20th for this activity. There will be a $30 fee for this activity. This fee is to cover food for the week. This is not due until the morning of the event. Please do not let money or gear hold you back from this activity. If you are unable to afford the fee or unable to acquire any part of the gear Please talk to Lt Isbell. If you are dedicated we will find a way to make it happen.
Minimum Gear List
One Complete set of BDU’s
6 Black shirts
7 Pairs of Socks
PT gear
1 set of Civi’s that can get DIRTY!!!
Coat (ANY kind)
Boot AND Tennis shoes
deodorant/hygiene products
Hydration (canteen, water bottle, camelback)
Flashlight
Insect repellant
Sunscreen
Shoe Shine Kit
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad (must have something between you and the ground)
Poncho (50cent one from Wal-Mart is fine)
Pen and Notepad
Optional gear is anything else on the GTM3 gear list or anything else you feel you need. Also snacks are aloud.
NO CANDY NO SODA
NO ELECTRONICS
Knifes and blades must be shorter then 3 inches |

All,
There was a slight mistake with the the papers that you were given about the Emergency Services training at Hastings. We will be coming back Saturday the 29th, on the sheets it says Sunday the 30th, disregard that we will be coming back from that training on Saturday. My apologies for that mistake.
